I am one very proud Dad over my son's eulogy for his Grandmother. He wrote it himself and refused to practice in front on anyone.
This is a hard thing for anyone to do, let alone a 20 year old who is experiencing the death of a very close relative for the first time.
As it is for anyone, Alex had a little trouble getting started. At about 1:53 in the video he gets his first big laugh with another coming in at 4:00. The best part however, is a 4:20 when his Uncle Frank's cell phone goes off, and he instantly stops and says, "go ahead and take that, I can wait."
time.
Well we are all back from Chicago where we had a memorial service for my Mother-In-Law, Margie Carroll. We had a wonderful celebration of her life. Over the coming days I will post the speeches that some of the family gave.
Before that however, we needed to get the boys ready for the service. It must be bad parenting or something, but how can 3 guys 18 - 22, not be able to tie their own ties. So Dad gives a little group lesson. A family friend Muffy shot the video. Unfortunately she is a little techincally deficient, so she shot it side ways.
Trying to get my site working properly. On my blog page you should see my Twitter Feed. In the social area of the site you will see my Youtube, facebook account and my blog.
Well all my kids are home from school. Over the next two months they will again scatter across the world. With my new found freedom I am looking into buying an RV. Most of my friends and family think I am nuts. Going to test one out tommorrow and will tell you of my experiences. Happy Trails
Nice family day allthough it was much less Father's day than Matt's HS grad day. Actually it was Independence Day for Marc. No kids in high school anymore, yea!
Well today we learned that Inside Lacrosse Magazine wants a photo shoot with Matt White. Seems they would like to put him on the cover of the magazine. Nice addition to our upcoming trip to the Under Armour All American High School game. This will be broadcast on ESPNU next saturday.
